The Maiden Sportsmen Club had the honor of presenting the Maiden Police Department Officer of the Year Award. This year's recipient is Officer Mark Baker. Officer Baker was selected for his exemplary work in the community. Officer Baker wears many hats as an officer at MPD including School Resource Officer, Dare Instructor, SAFE kids member, and volunteers for extra assignments such as speaking events and additional shifts when officers are needed.

Officer Baker lives in Maiden with his wife Christine and children Jayda and Kinley. Officer Baker was nominated by his peers for this prestigious award. Congratulations to Officer Baker!
